The Nike Air Max 97 Jesus Shoes is a limited customization infused with holy water imagined by the Brooklyn-based MSCHF studio and INRI. Walk on water, quite literally, with the rare Air Max 97. Each shoe is filled with 60cc of holy water derived from the River Jordan and then blessed. Using a stark white layered leather upper, the Jesus Shoes feature nods to the Vatican with a steel crucifix covering the laces and Matthew 14:25 inscription on the toe. Further detailing includes dual MSCHF and INRI branding on either heel. Ruby red Frankincense-scented insoles further the Jesus Shoes theme. The Nike Air Max 97 Jesus Shoes were released on October 8, 2019.
